Inside the hospital room Hermia was lying on a bed. The skinny girl was hooked up to all different kinds of drips and machines. And the hospital lighting highlighted just how sickly she actually looked. Dark rings under her eyes, her ribs showing through all too clearly, the stage make up that she had had on was flaking and wearing off. She looked pathetic and tiny, and for the first time she looked helpless.
