she nodded,going to her bag and getting her phone out. She pressed Call on Alex's name.She pressed loud speaker so Elle could hear and ask questions if she wanted

"Mfph...Hello?"He mumbled clearly just woken up,thy could hear him moving about in the bed

"Alex..."Lyra said her voice cracking again "I-is Casey there?"

"No...he left with you and never came back...I thought he'd stayed with you or gone home...whats wrong?"

"Casey didnt go home last night" She said her eyes welled up with tears

"Oh shit....right...Let me get dressed and I'll be right round.."He stood up,phone still pressed to his ear "Dont panic...he's probably just fell asleep on some park bench after the fresh airs hit him...he did drink alot you know."he said jokingly "Jordan up...we've got a situtation" The girls heard a muffled cry of pain from the other end of the phone

"Whatever it was, I'm sure Jordan deserved it..." Elle said, trying to cheer up the atmosphere. Despite the fact she knew it would be an effort made in vain.

Two loud cracks filled the air as Alex and a disgruntled looking Jordan,with a red mark on his arm that looked like a shoe print,arrived

Alex had to bite his tounge to stop himself from saying I told you so. When Casey and Lyra had first started dating,Alex had sat them both down and said they really needed to think is this what they wanted. He knew from experience that dating a friend could seem like the easiest thing in the world...but take that friend away from you...the friend who you grew to really love more than just a friend...kill that someone...its enough to break a person...shatter them into the tiniest fragments,makking them believe they'd never be whole again...he;d asked them could they deal with it if something happened to the other...deep down he knew they couldnt...they'd known each other far too long to just get over one or the other dying. and he worried for them.
