He grinned as he watched her make her way on the stage

Lake was met by a round of applause as she walked across the stage and delicately sat down opposite the interviewer. She smoothed down the beautiful chiffon and satin as she settled into her chair. As she was offered the drink containing the truth potion she took it gracefully from it's platter and thanked the woman holding it. It took every ounce of self-control she had to take a sip from the champagne flute it resided in. After taking a substantial, but not inelegant amount, she looked to the interviewer in anticipation of her first question.

"So Lake...you've just heard it from the horse's mouth itself...Michael Malfoy has imprinted on you...how do you feel about this? will affect how you act during the comeptition?"

Lake took a deep breath. "I'm glad that he feels that way... Because I feel the same. I loved him since I first met him three years ago." She smiled, she could feel the cameras focusing onto her. "I just never thought I really had a chance, I thought there was something wrong with me. A werewolf with a one-way imprint. Just he had other girls... Quite a few other girls... And they were all so beautiful that I just felt like a thorn among hundreds of roses... Completely unremarkable in every way." Lake sighed.

"And would you say you have any special skills that will help you or anyone else in the arena?"

"To be quite honest; no. Like I said, I'm completely unremarkable..." She sighed.

"I don't have one." She said bluntly. "I'm probably gonna die very quickly. I suppose I'm pretty fast? That's probably my only thing."

"It's not really giving up if you never had any faith in yourself in the first place." She sighed. "I'm not one for confrontation... Hell I run away from arguments, let alone a struggle to the death..."

OOC - Sorry I didn't reply, I kinda passed out at my laptop a couple of nights in a row and decided it'd be a good idea to try and get some proper rest for a few nights. XD

Ooc it's ok ^^ I was out Friday night .. Ended up terrible had a fight with my boyfriend and I ended things

Mickey was sat at the large window,which over looked the courtyard outside, it was still filled with cheering people who were gearing up for tomorrow's start. He sat in his pajamas staring down at them,feeling a mixture of anger and evny of them. They didnt have to go through this..they were safe...their children were safe...they led normal lives..but on the other hand what right did they have to say who lived and who died? what right did anyone have to take someones' life away werewolf or not? He pressed his forehead to the cool glass,his fringe falling into his eyes,tomorrow would be the start of something that would ruin many lives...even end quiet a few.

"Mickey...?" Lake said quietly as she peered around the door to his room. She's snuck out of her room just down the hallway. The gentle draft from the hallway blew her cotton night dress around her knees and lapped against her blonde curls. She'd been trying to sleep for a couple of hours now, but to no luck. It was horrible, the suspense.
